Washington State Quarters

Washington State Quarters are the 42nd variety in a series of fifty design changes over a ten year period from 1999 to 2008. This Quarter was released into circulation on April 2, 2007. The Washington quarter is the second release in 2007 and features a king salmon leaping from a lake. Mount Rainer is depicted in the background of the coin as well.
